Do you ever get a back ache or sore shoulders? If so, simply take a tennis ball, lean against something solid (the back of your chair, a wall) and use the tennis ball for acupressure on your pain point. Instant relief. My tennis ball and I are now best friends and it's my constant companion. I've put it in an old stocking so that when driving, it's easy to adjust.!

5. Understand and organise the value of your time
If you find that the phone isn’t ringing as much, companies are taking longer to come to a buying decision or referrals aren’t as plentiful as before – what can you do to maintain sales and income?
Understand the value of your time and organise your day to earn more.
1. Money hours
Organise your day around the “money” hours. These are the hours that you can and should be talking with your prospects and customers. Confine all your non-revenue generating activities to before or after your money hours.
2. Prospecting hours
Dedicate a certain percentage of your money hours to prospecting for new business from existing or new clients. Vary the time of day you contact them to increase the probability of reaching them. As this is an activity most people hate, put it in your schedule. Then simply do it. Pick up the phone and as all telemarketers are advised, call with a smile on your face.
3 Follow up
Do what you say you’ll do. The biggest tip is to use your computer tasks, to do or even calendar function to remind you. To make it easy, standardise your most frequently used follow-up pieces for easy production and distribution. Ensure that you document your follow up immediately. If you set it aside it’s too easy to forget to do it or to hard to remember all the details long after the fact.
4. Make sure you schedule non-money hours for professional development such as sales skills, people skills or improving industry and/ or product knowledge
